Meeting milestones and deadlines by providing the best in-class solutions. Support the gathering and reporting software metrics. Support software working groups with internal and external customers and stakeholders. Ability to analyze the system as a whole and determine potential impacts of integrating new technologies. Staff Software Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 12 or more years software engineering experience, or Master's degree and 10 or more years' software engineering experience or a PhD with 8 or more years of software engineering experience. Experience in defining and implementing DevSecOps lifecycle - continuous (build, integration, test, deployment, cyber, monitoring) Experience configuring RedHat Linux and Microsoft Windows within a secure environment. Experience with build tools (i.e., Maven, Ant, cmake) and/or continuous integration environments (i.e., Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo) and/or repositories (i.e. Nexus, JFROG Artifactory). Experience with one of the following configuration management systems: GIT, GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket Experience with configuration management using industry standard tools and processes. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks. In-depth working knowledge and experience with developing software and scripts on various programming languages: C, C++, Python, PowerShell, Bash, YAML In-depth working knowledge of the full software development life cycle. In-depth working knowledge with the Agile software development process. Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite with add-ons like Git and Confluence. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
