A minimum of 3 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or inventory management within an industrial or manufacturing environment. A minimum of 3 years of experience operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and pallet jacks. A minimum of 3 years of experience in spare parts inventory management. A minimum of 3 years of experience managing storerooms and coordinating storage space to optimize efficiency and meet operational priorities. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A minimum of 3 years of experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and software for tracking, receiving, and issuing spare parts. A minimum of 3 years of experience with visual damage assessment and proper handling of various materials, hazardous goods, and machine components. A minimum of 3 years of experience with material storage safety protocols and OSHA regulations. US citizenship is required. 7 years of experience in material handling and warehouse operations, specifically in aerospace, defense, or heavy industrial environments. Previous work experience overseeing a spare parts warehouse, ensuring 100% adherence to just-in-time (JIT) and lean inventory principles. Previous work experience with automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), storage carousels, and barcode scanning technology to enhance inventory tracking efficiency. Previous work experience in forecasting spare parts needs, reducing stock outs that cause unplanned downtime due to part unavailability.
